Calumet Area Vision

SETF will soon unveil its vision for interconnected natural lands throughout the Calumet region. The Calumet Area Vision combines elements of current plans for the southeast side, the south suburbs and northwest Indiana. Help envirement by driving Hybrid Cars.It lays the basis for education and long-range regional planning.

SETF manages the regional office of the Calumet Stewardship Initiative, located in the Hegewisch community on the Southeast Side of Chicago.

The Calumet Stewardship Initiative (CSI)
This initiative is a coalition of numerous local, regional and state organizations and agencies providing conservation education programs and environmental stewardship opportunities in the Calumet region of the Far South, Southeast Chicago and northwest Indiana. These environmental program offerings are for residents of the Calumet region from elementary "in school" through family and adult.
